Today I went to a Nasi Lemak that my mum personally heard about. Personally, I feel nothing beats Village Park Nasi Lemak in Kuala Lumpur (especially the Uptown branch), and going to RizCoconut did nothing to change that.

The area is a pretty bustling area, beside a specialist Yonex shop. to be frank, the one reason that I would be happy to go to RizCoconut over Village Park would be the fact that at least I don’t feel like a sardine at RizCoconut. Furthermore, the parking – although you have to pay RM3 for parking at a private parking nearby, its definitely much easier to navigate around compared to Village Park.
Personally, I had the Nasi Lemak with Chicken Rendang. It was decent, but I feel like it does have that very familiar, I have definitely had this somewhere else/somewhere else does this better kind of feel. My mum tried the Bubur Cha Cha, and I guess she felt it was just meh.
I appreciate the fact that its a very clean, almost Singapore restaurant-esque feel to this Nasi Lemak. I almost feel as though the environment is similar to that of Fong Seng in Singapore. Whilst if you are in the area, I would recommend you to try, I definitely wouldn’t say its a must have.
Price was decent, can’t quite remember the exact figure, but it was under RM10, so for what you’re paying, you’re definitely filling your belly.
The rating system is such that I rate in total out of 5. 3 stars would be for the taste, 1 each for location and price.
Whilst it was decent, it wasn’t too special. Seems like quite a normal Nasi Lemak, if you ask me.
Pricing is decent for the cleanliness and the portion. The portions were pretty big.
A little secluded area, and a pretty congested area to get around, but definitely I’ve seen worst, and the parking is pretty convenient, so I’ll give it a 0.5/1
